Boil Water Notice Issued For City Of Newburgh Following Water Main Break

NEWBURGH, N.Y. – The City of Newburgh has issued a boil water advisory on Monday evening in the area of Liberty Street from Elmwood Place to Nicoll Street and Elmwood Place from Liberty to Powell Avenue due to a water main break.

Residents located in the blue highlighted area are advised to boil water for at least two minutes.

The Orange County Health Department is recommending residents and businesses located in the blue highlighted area on the map rapidly boil tap water for at least two minutes prior to drinking or use in food preparation.

Residents and businesses are advised to continue boiling water until notified otherwise.
